Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has hailed Arsenal as the best team in the world ahead of their Champions League final clash.
He said Arsenal are the best when it comes to playing without the ball.
The champions of Ligue 1 and the Premier League are set to clash in the final in Budapest on May 30, having previously faced each other in last season’s semi-finals.
PSG advanced from those two matches, securing a 3-1 aggregate victory, before decisively defeating Inter Milan 5-0 in the final.
The French side enters the match as the favorites to retain their Champions League title against the Gunners, and Enrique acknowledges the formidable skill set they bring to the competition.
During a press conference on Wednesday, following Arsenal’s Premier League title win, the PSG manager said about the Gunners, “I believe they deserve to win the league — they have had an outstanding season.
“We have already faced this Arsenal team, so we are aware of their capabilities.
“Without the ball, they are the best team in the world, and with it, they can score frequently. This creates a remarkable combination for them.
“It is fitting that we are meeting them in the final. We can anticipate a truly exceptional match.’”
Enrique has secured the Champions League title with both PSG and Barcelona, in addition to winning three Ligue 1 and two La Liga titles.
